December Week Three

Merry Christmas Everyone!

In honor of the upcoming holidays, we discussed the good, the bad and the ugly of holidays and traditions in general.

For listening, try your hand at The Christmas Gift or learn English with Christmas songs, which features some traditional carols like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reinderr as well as more contemporary twists on Christmas songs.

For reading, find out about different Christmas traditions around the world, or eight strange ways of celebrating Christmas .  For original version, why not try the classic poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas or the  story The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry.

Now, on to writing!  Please describe  your favorite or most hated traditions!  Or try writing a short story that takes places at the holidays.

There will be original version cinema over the break as part of Actual Impar at the Bret'on Theater, such as The Master on January 2nd at 19:30, Beasts of the Southern Wild on January 3rd at 19:30, Robot and Frank on January 4th at 19:30.

Don't forget there is no class the last week in December and the first week of January.  Enjoy the break and see you after the holidays.
