Have you ever...? This week we our work revolved around asking questions, primarily the questions Would you rather...? and Have you ever....? We discussed preferences, practiced the interrogative form, and told some anecdotes. So, on to the homework! You can check your grammar about the Present Perfect (have you ever) with this quiz. Listening For listening this week learners can try Mr Radinski and the Driving Lesson or Have you Ever Seen a Day Like This. For those who may have to take oral exams at one point, this video about how to tell an anecdote may be of your interest. For more advanced, try A Surivival Story (mp3 and transcript) or any of the stories at StoryCorps for original version. Or, check out any of the fascinating TED Talks about How to Tell a Story. Reading First off, why not peruse some of the many questions at You Rather. Make sure to look up any words you don't know in the dictionary. Do your answer tend to line up with those of other people? For original version check out some of the stories at the Anecdotes Website. Writing Pick one of the questions at You Rather. Explain your reasoning for your choice. Or, if you prefer, answer one of the Have You Ever Questions and respond by telling an anecdote about your life. Try to use as much vocabulary as you can! Best, Kelly
