February Week Three

This week we killed two birds with one stone: we used the podcast 10 Things That Scare Me, as the basis of our conversation about different fears, at the same time as we practiced reported speech.  Here you have a link to the table of info we used in class.

Listening:
Learners can listen to a 6 Minute Grammar Episode about reported speech, or the video: How to tell  if your boyfriend is a slob from the British Council.

For original version, it goes without saying that I think you should explore the archives of the fantastic 10 Things I am Scared of podcast!  There are lots of great episodes out there.

Reading:
Learners can try Reported speech explanation and activities with British Council or Reported Speech Reading Comprehension activity.

Writing:
This week for writing, start by having a conversation with a relative or friend about the 10 things that scare them.  Then use this information to construct a text using reported speech.
